Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk was featured in a variety of commercials as a young child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts in the field of theater at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton with an Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, 2016. Silk's television work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to the fans during a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social networks.
