Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Distinguished Professor of psychology and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. The university is widely acknowledged for beginning the current science-based study of children's eyewitness memory and child victims as witnesses in legal situations. Professor Goodman regularly publishes her work and has been awarded several grants, and has been honored with many award both international and national. She has collaborated with a variety of authorities and organisations across the world on studies and policy issues pertaining to children who are victims of the legal system. She serves as consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She has been a member of several professional associations, including that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child the Practice and Policy.
